Some questions frequently asked by users : lug pattern for 1967 chevy pickup?
what do i need to do with my 1967 chevy pickup?
i just traded an old dirt bike for a 1967 chevy truck. i don't really want to keep it. should i sell it for scrap, or is it worth more than a few hundred dollars? it is in really bad shape, except for the custom bed with caddilac tail lights. i traded because the dirt bike was only worth about $100
advice on my 1967 chevy pickup?
have a dilemma with me truck right now, i have a 1967 chevy step side. the 6th piston needs to be replaced at least, don't know how much more work needs to be done with it, maybe have to re bore the cylinders cuz they are rusty. i have three options, one to rebore and rebuild the motor and everything, replace the motor all together with the same kind (straight 6 cylinder), or replace it putting in a newer, better performance better gas mileage one. so first off i haven't really looked in to it so what would cost be for each? what motor would be good for that truck if i put in a new motor all together? what would be the best to do? biggest thing, how much would it hurt the value to replace the motor with a straight and how much for a new one? and lastly, your opinion, if this was your truck what would you do? as well as the engine advice could also use some on what else to do with the truck, anything cool or that i may not think about. right now i am thinking about painting it black with a hint of red (depending on how it hurts the value), inter black with red trim, bed with redwood boards. so if you have any advice let me know, thanks. could also maybe use some help doing all this so if you are into old collectable trucks and what to help (maybe a little pay) let me know as well. this truck has been in my family since it came off the line in 1967 so i really want to get it running. any advice would be great. thanks
which vehicles 'bucket seats' would best replace the original bench seat for my 1967 chevy fleetside pickup?
just picked up this vehicle and the seat's missing. would rather put in buckets for comfort. anyone have a suggestion for a boneyard donor vehicle that'd have nice bucket seats and would 'convert' relatively easilly to the '67 truck? thank you,
